Mizzou Cow College Workshops set for May

Southeastern Missouri cattle producers are invited to Cow College Workshops, an initiative led by specialists from University of Missouri Extension’s livestock, agronomy and agriculture business and policy teams.

Key workshop focus areas will be on forage and hay quality assessment, cattle health and development, heifer selection and development and economic sustainability. The programs are 5 to 8:30 p.m. at two sites. The May 5 and12 program is at the Grandin City Hall, Grandin, with registration at http://muext.us/CowCollegeGrandin.

The May 6 and 13 program is at the Madison County Ambulance District, Fredericktown, with registration at http://muext.us/CowCollegeFredericktown.

Producers are encouraged to secure spots early due to limited capacity. Cost is $20 plus $10 per additional family member.
