In a testament to collaboration, the Montana Beef Council and the North Dakota Beef Commission came together in Sidney, Montana, on April 30, for a joint-board meeting that focused on strengthening the beef industry and exploring opportunities for growth.

The day started with an informative joint overview of both organizations, followed by a detailed export market update presented by Annie Hennen of the U.S. Meat Export Federation, contractor to the Beef Checkoff. The session provided valuable insights into global market trends and opportunities for U.S. beef exports, a critical component of the industry’s success.

Following NDBC’s own business meeting and a shared lunch, the Montana Beef Council convened for its meeting, led by President Andy Kellom and Executive Director Chaley Harney. The meeting covered a range of important topics, including financial and investment updates, as well as key industry initiatives.
