The Farm, Food and Enterprise Development team with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will offer a lunchtime food safety webinar from noon to 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 12.
The virtual event, “Safe Food, Smart Business: Understanding the Basics and the Consequences,” will center on food safety as a top priority for any food business. Hannah Hansen, food safety Extension specialist with Iowa State, will lead the session and provide insights to help food entrepreneurs navigate food safety challenges with practical, accessible solutions.
There is no cost to attend, but those interested must register online.
