Annual Governor’s Conference on Aging set

Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly announced the Annual Governor’s Conference on Aging is Oct. 17 at the Kansas State University Alumni Center in Manhattan. The theme of the conference is Rooted in Respect, Growing an Age-Friendly Kansas.
The conference aims to increase awareness of aging issues in Kansas, strengthen multi-sector partnerships, and make the state a place where all Kansans thrive, regardless of age. The Age-Friendly Ecosystem in Kansas touches on health, education, policy, financial, legal, law enforcement, public transit, and workplace wellness.
