USDA Hay Prices August 2026. The latest USDA hay market report provides a snapshot of hay prices across key producing regions in the Central, Midwest, Southern and Western United States for the week ending Aug. 15, 2026. Prices vary considerably by location, hay type, grade and bale size, reflecting regional differences in supply, demand and market conditions. The figures below include reported trades and asking prices for alfalfa, grass hay, Bermuda grass and other forage types.
