The IntelliMix advanced mixer control system represents the next evolution in mixer automation.
As farms strive for consistent ration quality and efficient use of labor and equipment, the IntelliMix system provides a smarter approach to mixer operation. Available on Kuhn VTC 200 and VXL 200 Series commercial mixers, the system integrates advanced controls with continuously variable transmission technology to provide more consistent mixing performance, smoother full-load startups, reduced operator dependency, potential fuel savings and optimized power management to maximize mixing action.
These capabilities address some of the most pressing challenges facing today’s dairy and livestock operations, including rising fuel and labor costs and difficulties finding and retaining skilled workers. At the same time, producers are under increasing pressure to deliver consistent feed quality and repeatable ration performance while managing larger herd sizes and higher-capacity feed batches.
The IntelliMix system meets these demands through automated auger speed control and intelligent power management, helping ensure repeatable mixing results regardless of an operator’s experience. By automating key functions and maintaining consistent auger speeds, the system improves mixing consistency, simplifies operator training and reduces the impact of individual operating habits. The IntelliMix system also may reduce fuel consumption by allowing operators to lower engine rpm while maintaining auger speeds. Designed for large-batch feeding applications, the IntelliMix system is intended to help operations achieve faster mixing cycles, greater efficiency and more consistent results day after day.
