Tulsa feeder cattle sale results
Tulsa Livestock Auction, Tulsa, Oklahoma, reported receipts of 2,419 head selling a week ago, 2,676 head trading March 22 and 1,411 head selling a year ago, according to USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Compared to a week ago, steers were selling $6 to $8 higher. Heifers were trading $5 higher. Quality was plain through attractive. Demand was good. Supply included: 89% feeder cattle (43% steers, 40% heifers, 17% bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 pounds was 17%.
