Tulsa Livestock Auction, Tulsa, Oklahoma, reported receipts of 2,202 head selling a week ago, 2,743 head trading April 12, and 1,575 head selling a year ago, according to USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Compared to a week ago, steers were selling mostly steady. Heifers were trading $3 to $6 lower. Demand was good. Quality was good. Supply included: 86% feeder cattle (46% steers, 43% heifers, 11% bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 pounds was 11%.
