BQA is a nationally coordinated, state implemented program providing systematic information to U.S. beef producers and beef consumers of how common sense husbandry techniques can be coupled with accepted scientific knowledge to raise cattle under optimum management and environmental conditions. This training is for anyone in the cattle industry, including: veterinarians, producers, and cattle transporters. This program gives consumers confidence that the beef they are buying are safe. Starting Jan. 1, 2019, many packing plants, including: Tyson, U.S. Premium Beef, and National Beef will only accept beef form feedyards that are BQA certified.

There is no registration fee to attend the training, and it includes snacks and drinks. Please sign up to reserve your place at the training by contacting Jordan Jones at [email protected] or 620-290-1210.
