The Ogallala Livestock Auction Market, Ogallala, Nebraska, reported receipts of 4,970 head selling on Nov. 15, compared to 3,497 head a week ago, according to the Nebraska Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News Service, Kearney, Nebraska.

Compared to a week ago, steers were selling steady to $2 lower. Heifers were selling steady to $4 lower, except 400 to 500 pounds were selling $9 higher. Demand was good to moderate, buyers wanting pre-condition shots. Steers accounted for 62% and heifers 38% of the offering. Weights over 600 pounds 21% of the offering.
