Mullen workshop is introduction to Schedule F tax form

An “Introduction to Schedule F” workshop Dec. 12 in Mullen will explain the updated Federal Income Tax Form Schedule F for farmers and ranchers.

The workshop will run from noon until 2 p.m. MST at the Hooker County Library Basement. Cost is $20 per participant. Registration is requested by calling the Central Sandhills Area Extension Office at 308-645-2267 or emailing [email protected] .

This workshop is designed to give farmers and ranchers a better understanding of the information needed to file a Schedule F, the form that reports farm income and expenses. Understanding how to record ranch income, and what ranch expenses to deduct will be covered. Attendees will learn about different records to keep and tax forms to watch for in the mail.

After attending this workshop, producers will be able to have a more productive meeting with their tax preparer.
