Ranching in drought workshop will Aug. 9 in La Junta
The U.S. Department of Agriculture and Colorado State University Extension Range School will host a Ranching in Drought workshop on Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Otero Junior College Student Center, room 116, 1802 Colorado Ave, La Junta, Colorado.
Lunch will be provided as presenters discuss drought issues and ideas; the latest weather and climate outlooks; flexible grazing strategies; drought assistance programs; drought planning and goal setting.
