As part of a coordinated effort, long-time CLAAS equipment dealer Agri Center has acquired the Hoxie, Kansas, store location formerly operated by Taylor Implement.

This makes three locations for Agri Center, which also has stores in Hutchinson and Salina, Kansas. While Taylor Implement has divested its Hoxie location, the company still sells CLAAS equipment from its locations in Greeley and Yuma, Colorado.

“We’re excited to serve the farmers of northwest Kansas through this new location,” said managing partner Lee File of Agri Center. “Because of harvest, we’ve expedited our move into the Hoxie location to serve the existing CLAAS customers during this critical time. We are in the process of moving parts inventory into the new location and are pulling needed parts out of our other two stores when necessary. CLAAS has helped support our efforts with large stocking orders to help make the transition as seamless as possible.”

According to Eric Raby, senior vice president of the Omaha, Nebraska-based CLAAS Americas region, “We’re excited to say that we were able to help make this transition happen, all thanks to cooperation between Taylor Implement and the management team at Agri Center. Our customers are our number one priority, and we are happy to see that they are in good hands with Agri Center.”

An acquisition price was not disclosed. Agri Center has been an implement dealership in Kansas since 1952. The company offers the full range of CLAAS equipment, along with a number of other supporting implement brands.
