A wish can be powerful. Professionally speaking, for farmers and ranchers, it can take many forms. Maybe it’s no debt, a new combine, record yield, a way to conquer resistant weeds or a “Lebron” bull to expand your herd. My guess is you are more practical and place a greater emphasis on wishing for icing on the cake you already have.
For me, this is where it starts. Be the dude—God wanted me to be. Thankful and hungry. My wish starts with my crew at home and the ability to provide and prepare them for what lies ahead. Our health is wrapped in that, too. Then, since I get three, I look to share a wish with those who had an impression or impact on me. Finally, I would place my last wish upon our industry and the agriculture families and communities that make this nation the place I love.
There is not a single day at High Plains Journal that I wish for “business as usual.” Consistency is important, but change is inevitable, and innovation is critical. This is true in agriculture and equally true for this publication. If you enjoyed any part of HPJ’s first 75 years serving farmers and ranchers, then you will want to save a wish because the best is yet to come. In the weeks ahead, consumers of HPJ digital products will notice updates that will make content more accessible and custom-tailored. It’s not just more for you, but ag news specifically for you.
HPJ’s digital subscription levels are evolving and include three NEW options.
First, we are offering a Free Digital Subscription to qualified industry professionals or students. The Free Digital Subscription includes 50-plus weeks per year of the digital edition with access limited to the current week’s edition. This level will include access to select industry e-newsletters and limited website access. The Free Digital Subscription will not include access to premium content (digital edition or online archives, industry reports, HPJ originals and other paid subscriber-only content.)
HPJ will offer two paid digital subscription levels. Paid Premium Access–Digital & Print will include 50-plus weeks of digital and print editions per year; unlimited website access, including searchable articles beyond one-year, digital edition archives and premium subscriber-only content. In addition, subscribers at this level will receive subscriber-only discounts for event attendance and access to all industry e-newsletters.
A final subscription level, Paid Premium Access–Digital Only, will offer all the Digital & Print level, only without HPJ’s signature weekly print publication.
Our connection goes well beyond pages in print, digital media or events. It is about bringing your story to life. These digital updates will provide an opportunity for our team to best serve and customize content most suitable for you. This is HPJ’s perpetual wish and, although we are 75 years in, our story together is just getting started.
