MCA recognizes top membership recruiters

The Missouri Cattlemen’s Association recognized individuals—known as Top Hands—who recruited new members in 2017. Top Hands received recognition during the 50th Annual Missouri Cattle Industry Convention and Trade Show. The top membership recruiter in 2017, recruiting 60 new members, was Greg Buckman from Hallsville, Missouri. For his efforts, Buckman receives an all-expense paid trip to the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Convention in Phoenix, Arizona.

The MCA Top Hands cumulatively recruited nearly 500 new members over the past year. These cattlemen received prizes based on the number of new members they recruited. Sixteen first level top hands received an MCA pocket knife for recruiting three to four new members. Twenty second level recruiters brought in five to nine new members and received a desk clock. Eight recruiters signed up 10 or more members and received a wall clock. Four top hands recruited 20 or more members. These recruiters received a wall clock and a MCA convention package.

“MCA is glad to present these top hands with an incentive,” MCA Manager of Membership Maria Washburn said. “Recruiting 500 new members in one year is a great accomplishment for our association.”
