One picture from a farm west of Claflin, Kansas, shows the inconsistency of the crop as we’ve seen it so far this morning on the Wheat Quality Council tour. Underdeveloped by a couple of weeks because of dry weather, this field had a patch that had extra fertilizer. We got 50 bpa on this field but it would have less without nitrogen.
