Compared to a week ago, feeder steers and heifers were selling steady to $4 higher. Trade activity was slow to moderate on moderate demand. Slaughter cows and bulls were selling steady to firm. Slaughter cows and bulls made up 30%, 4% replacements and 66% feeders. The feeder supply consisted of 31% steers and bulls, 69% heifers. Nearly 53% of the run weighed over 600 pounds.

Steers: Medium and large frame 1, few 487 lbs., 160.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 147.00 to 165.00; few 633 lb. calves 145.00. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, few 305 lbs., 177.00; few 805 lbs., 132.50.

Feeder bulls: Medium and large frame 1, few 275 lbs., 198.00; few 460 lbs., 173.00; 600 to 650 lbs., 130.50 to 131.00. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, few 323 lbs., 185.00; few 405 lbs., 162.00.
