The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for Nov. 2, reported in futures trading that Chicago December soft red winter wheat was $7.91 1/2; December corn, $5.73; and November soybeans, $12.4.

The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $8.67 1/2 to $8.91 1/2, down 5 3/4 to up 9 1/4 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $6.38 to $6.39, down 10 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, unavailable; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, $13.12 to $13.23 1/4, change unavailable.

Colby, Kansas, unit train wheat bid was $7.53 to $7.68.

In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $7.78 to $8.18.

No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was $7.78 1/4 to $8.18 1/4.

In northeast Colorado, wheat was $7.58 1/4 to $8.03 1/4.

In east central Colorado, wheat was $7.48 1/4 to $7.63 1/4.

In southeast Colorado, wheat was $7.58 1/4 to $8.03 1/4.

In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $7.28 1/4 to $7.48 1/4.

No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was $6.18 to $6.33.

In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $5.73 to $6.33.

In east central Colorado, corn was $5.63 to $5.93.

In southeast Colorado, corn was $5.98 to $6.23.

In southwest Nebraska corn bids were $5.76 to $5.78 per bushel.

No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was $5.58 to $5.83.

No. 1 yellow soybeans in southwest Nebraska were $11.81 1/4 to $11.96 1/4.

White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $18 to $19 per cwt.

Sunflowers were $31.50 per cwt.

In Denver and surrounding areas, corn was $6.18 to $6.33. Barley was unavailable.

In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, pinto beans were steady $45 per cwt; in North Dakota and Minnesota, pinto beans were steady at $45 to $47. In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans were steady $45 to $48. Great Northerns were steady at $30 in northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $42. In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, light red kidneys were $50; in North Dakota and Minnesota, light red kidneys were $44 to $45.
