From 1980-1990, Bowman worked for VJP Angus and Sydenstricker Angus Farm in management and show cattle preparation roles. He then spent two years with the American Angus Hall of Fame.

After that, he began his 22-year career with the American Angus Association, where he held various positions, including regional manager, head of commercial and performance programs, chief operating officer and the first president of Angus Genetics Inc. Since 2014, he and his wife, Sally Northcutt-Bowman, have owned and operated Method Genetics. The Bowmans have two children and six grandchildren and reside in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Delvin Heldermon was born in Hinton, Oklahoma. After graduating from high school in 1980, he took a job with Coyote Hills Limousin and American Cattle Services in Chattanooga, Oklahoma. After two years working under Ken Holloway, Heldermon took a position with the Western Livestock Journal and moved to Fort Worth, Texas. In 1986, Heldermon and several colleagues bought the Livestock Market Digest. He worked at that publication until he started Heldermon Sales Company in 1991, specializing in ring service for cattle, equine, equipment, auto and land auctions. Delvin and his wife, Donna, live in Sulphur, Oklahoma. They have three children and six grandchildren.
