MU Extension offers ‘Tunnel to Table’ webinar series

University of Missouri Extension will offer a webinar series to help specialty crop growers learn about growing in tunnels.

The “Tunnel to Table” webinar series is 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 20 to April 14, via Zoom, said Justin Keay, MU Extension field horticulture specialist.

MU Extension specialists and researchers from partner institutions will offer this practical 12-session series to learn about growing specialty crops in high, low and caterpillar tunnels, he says. Topics include construction, irrigation, fertility management, pest and disease control and the economics of specialty crop production.
