The Colorado Department of Agriculture’s Animal Health Division has informed GlobalVetLINK, Ames, Iowa, that because of the migration of the GVL certificate of veterinary inspection data into the Colorado Department of Agriculture’s animal health information management database the requirement of obtaining a permit is no longer needed for GVL users. Veterinarians using GlobalVetLINK for issuing a certificate of veterinary inspection for entry of livestock into Colorado will no longer need to call the CDA office or use the online permitting system for an import entry permit.
John Deere, Olathe, Kansas, has received the American Farm Bureau Ag Data Transparent certification, which verifies to producers that a technology provider or product is in compliance with specific core principles for ag data ownership, consent and privacy. The ADT certification is based on Ag Data Core Principles developed by 2014 by the American Farm Bureau Federation and numerous ag industry groups and ag technology companies.
Inocucor Corporation, Denver, Colorado, a developer and producer of biological crop inputs for high-value produce and row crops, has acquired ATP Nutrition, a producer of science-based plant nutrients based in Oak Bluff, Manitoba, Canada. Crop nutrients produced by the two firms are designed to work together to boost plant health and grower yields. ATP will continue to operate as a plant nutrient supplier to canola, soybean, corn, pulse and cereal growers in North America. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
