The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for April 26, reported in futures trading that Chicago May soft red winter wheat was $10.83 1/4; May corn, $8.03 1/4; and May soybeans, $17.05 1/4.

The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $11.58 1/4 to $11.98 1/4, up 21 1/4 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $8.91 1/4 to $8.93 1/4, up 3 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, unavailable; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, $18.15 1/4, up 1 3/4 cents.

Colby, Kansas, unit train wheat bid was $10.89 1/2.

In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $10.95 to $11.58.

No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was $10.94 1/2 to $11.57 3/4.

In northeast Colorado, wheat was $10.49 1/2 to $10.94.

In east central Colorado, wheat was $10.97 3/4 to $11.09 1/2.

In southeast Colorado, wheat was $10.72 1/4 to $11.26 1/4.

In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $10.54 1/2 to $10.79 1/2.

No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was $8.56 1/2 to $8.61 1/2.

In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $7.86 1/2 to $8.25 1/2.

In east central Colorado, corn was $8.11 1/2 to $8.26 1/2.

In southeast Colorado, corn was $8.18 1/4 to $8.68 1/4.

In southwest Nebraska corn bids were $7.86 1/2 per bushel.

No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was $7.38 1/4 to $7.98 1/4.

No. 1 yellow soybeans in southwest Nebraska were $15.66 3/4 to $15.86 3/4.

White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $15.50 to $17 per cwt.

Sunflowers were $40 per cwt.

In Denver and surrounding areas, corn was $8.55 to $8.60. Barley was unavailable.

In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, pinto beans were steady $44 per cwt; in North Dakota and Minnesota, pinto beans were steady at $45 to $47. In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans were steady $45. Great Northerns were steady at $35 in northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $44. In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, light red kidneys were $50; in North Dakota and Minnesota, light red kidneys were $50 to $52.60.
