John Deere (NYSE: DE) announced model year 2027 updates to its tillage equipment lineup, adding new high-speed disk models, expanding autonomy-ready options and renaming its DA Series applicators.

The updates include the introduction of two-section high-speed disk models in four widths—15, 19, 22 and 25 feet—along with expanded autonomy-ready capability for select rippers and field cultivators.

Michael Porter, John Deere marketing manager for tillage equipment, said the changes reflect customer demand for tools suited to different operation sizes and time constraints.

Launched in early 2025, the high-speed disk lineup will now include the new two-section models. The company said the smaller widths are intended to provide flexibility for operations with fewer acres, transport limitations or varying tractor sizes.

The two-section models will come autonomy ready from the factory and feature the same frame design and residue flow system as larger models, according to the company.

For 2026, autonomy-ready capability will be available on the 2730 combination ripper and the 64- and 69-foot models of the 2230 field cultivator. The company said the equipment is designed to integrate with autonomy-ready tractors.

Customers with 2016 or newer 2730 combination rippers will be able to update their equipment using a John Deere Precision Upgrade kit. Combination ripper upgrade kits are expected to be available for order in summer 2026. Field cultivator kits are available now.

John Deere also announced it is renaming its 2510H applicator as part of the DA Series to align with its broader tillage portfolio. The company said the change is limited to naming and does not affect performance.

More information about the tillage lineup is available through local dealers and on the company’s website.
