Case IH expands compact tractor lineup

Case IH has introduced two new compact tractors, the Farmall 35A and 40A, expanding its Farmall series with models focused on operator comfort and versatility.

The tractors were unveiled at the National Farm Machinery Show and World Ag Expo. The company said the new models are designed to support a range of operations while improving ease of use and efficiency.

The Farmall 35A and 40A feature a wide platform and step-through design intended to simplify entry and exit. The tractors also include a cushioned seat, ergonomic controls and clear sightlines aimed at improving operator comfort and safety. A loader joystick is positioned for ease of use.

“The new Farmall 35A and 40A tractors are not only more comfortable, they make work easier and more efficient,” said Leo Bose, livestock customer segment leader at Racine, Wisconsin-based Case IH. “From operator station comforts to powerful capabilities, these compact tractors are designed with the operator in mind.”

Operators can choose between a three-range hydrostatic transmission or a 12×12 gear transmission. The tractors include a 12.6-gallon fuel tank and a common-rail diesel injection system designed to reduce refueling frequency and maintenance needs.

The models offer features to support implement use, including an optional live third-function loader control, increased three-point lift capacity and optional hydraulic remotes. A dual-pedal design allows for quick forward and reverse changes. The tractors can also be equipped with a factory-matched loader and backhoe with a quick-mount system.

Case IH said the tractors are compatible with an entry-level telematics modem that enables integration with its FieldOps platform for up to five years of connectivity. The system allows users to monitor equipment and view GPS location data through a mobile app.

In addition to the new compact tractors, Case IH is displaying other equipment and technology at both trade shows, including tractors, combines, balers and precision agriculture tools.
