The 2026 Texas Cattle Feeders Association’s Beef Showcase is set for Sept. 17 at the Happy State Bank Academic & Research Building on the West Texas A&M University Campus, 600 WTAMU, Canyon, Texas.
The event is free and open to the public, beginning with registration at 1:30 p.m., followed by judging of steers and carcass matching, a beef industry knowledge and skills exam and beef fabrication demonstration. This year’s knowledge and skills exam comes with a twist: While everyone will take the exam, the top two scorers from each division will advance to Showcase Jeopardy, with prize money to be distributed among those competitors.
