The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for June 15, reported in futures trading that Chicago July soft red winter wheat was $6.61 1/2; July corn, $6.67 1/2; and July soybeans, $14.65 3/4.
The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $7.11 1/2 to $7.52 1/4, down 4 to 14 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $6.48 3/4 to $7.39 1/2, up 6 1/4 to down 9 1/2 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, $7.08 3/4 to $8.52 1/2, down 7 1/2 to up 8 1/2 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, $15.19 3/4 to $15.20 3/4, down 4 1/2 to 6 1/2 cents.
Colby, Kansas, unit train wheat bid was $5.78 to $5.83.
In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $5.93 to $6.43.
No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was $5.92 3/4 to $6.42 3/4.
In northeast Colorado, wheat was $5.47 3/4 to $5.67 3/4.
In east central Colorado, wheat was $5.72 3/4 to $6.02 3/4.
In southeast Colorado, wheat was $5.97 3/4 to $6.12 3/4.
In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $5.52 3/4 to $5.67 3/4.
No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was $7.11 3/4 to $7.47 1/2.
In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $6.84 1/2 to $7.12 1/2.
In east central Colorado, corn was $6.92 1/2 to $7.02 1/2.
In southeast Colorado, corn was $7.07 1/2 to $7.32 1/2.
In southwest Nebraska corn bids were $6.77 1/2 to $6.84 1/2 per bushel.
