The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for July 20, reported in futures trading that Chicago September soft red winter wheat was $7 1/2; September corn, $5.71 3/4; and August soybeans, $14.43 1/2.

The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $7.25 1/2 to $7.27 1/2, up 2 3/4 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $7.11 1/4 to $7.21 3/4, up 15 3/4 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, $7.05 3/4 to $7.56 3/4, up 13 1/2 to 15 3/4 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, $15.16 1/2 to $15.17 1/2, up 14 1/2 cents.

Colby, Kansas, unit train wheat bid was $6.30 to $6.31.

In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $6.40 to $6.80.

No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was $6.40 1/4 to $6.80 1/4.

In northeast Colorado, wheat was $6 1/4 to $6.80 1/4.

In east central Colorado, wheat was $6.20 1/4 to $6.55 1/4.

In southeast Colorado, wheat was $6.60 1/4 to $6.65 1/4.

In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $6 1/4 to $6.15 1/4.

No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was $7.21 3/4.

In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $6.71 3/4 to $7.11 3/4.

In east central Colorado, corn was $5.96 3/4 to $6.51 3/4.

In southeast Colorado, corn was $6.51 3/4 to $7.01 3/4.

In southwest Nebraska corn bids were $6.51 3/4 to $6.71 3/4 per bushel.

No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was $6.26 3/4 to $6.36 3/4.

No. 1 yellow soybeans in southwest Nebraska were $13.29 to $14.03 1/2.

White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $13 to $19 per cwt.

Sunflowers were $30 per cwt.

In Denver and surrounding areas, corn was $7.22. Barley was unavailable.

In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, pinto beans were steady $35 per cwt; in North Dakota and Minnesota, pinto beans were steady at $36 to $40. In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans were steady $36 to $40. Great Northerns were steady at $30 in northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $33 to $36. In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, light red kidneys were unavailable; in North Dakota and Minnesota, light red kidneys were $48.
