Arkansas feeder cattle sale results

The Arkansas Weekly Livestock Auction Summary reported receipts of 5,307 head selling a week ago, 6,274 head trading April 12 and 4,268 head selling a year ago, according to USDA-Arkansas Department of Agriculture Market News, Little Rock, Arkansas.

Compared to a week ago, feeder and stocker cattle were selling $3 to $8 lower. Supply included: 80% feeder cattle (36% steers, 0% dairy steers, 45% heifers, 19% bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 pounds was 21%.
