The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for Nov. 17, reported in futures trading that Chicago December soft red winter wheat was $5.95 1/4; December corn, $4.20 1/4; and November soybeans, $11.69 3/4.

The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $6.65 1/4 to $6.98, down 1 3/4 to up 8 1/4 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $4.82 1/4 to $5 3/4, up 1 1/2 to 6 1/2 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, $6.20 1/4 to $6.40 1/4, up 4 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, $12.29 3/4 to $12.48 1/2, up 13 1/4 to 16 1/4 cents.

Colby, Kansas, unit train wheat bid was $5.08 to $5.17.

In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $5.22 1/2 to $5.52 1/2.

No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was $5.22 1/2 to $5.52 1/2.

In northeast Colorado, wheat was $4.88 1/2 to $5.12 1/2.

In east central Colorado, wheat was $5.02 1/2 to $5.32 1/2.

In southeast Colorado, wheat was $5.02 1/2 to $5.22 1/2.

In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $4.88 1/2 to $5.07 1/2.

No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was $4.65 1/4 per bushel.

In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $4.15 1/4 to $4.45 1/4.

In east central Colorado, corn was $4.20 1/4 to $4.50 1/4.

In southeast Colorado, corn was $4.55 1/4.

In southwest Nebraska corn bids were $4.07 1/4 to $4.17 1/4 per bushel.

No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was $5.05 1/4 to $5.55 1/4 per cwt.

No. 1 yellow soybeans in southwest Nebraska were $10.79 3/4 to $11.04 3/4 per bushel.

White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $20 to $22 per cwt.

Sunflowers were unavailable.

In Denver and surrounding areas, corn was $4.65 per bushel. Barley was unavailable.

In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, pinto beans were steady $23 per cwt; in North Dakota and Minnesota, pinto beans were steady at $22 to $25. In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans were steady $23 to $25. Great Northerns were steady at $30 in northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $26 to $27. In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, light red kidneys were unavailable; in North Dakota and Minnesota, light red kidneys were steady $40 to $43.
