Grain market close
The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for Nov. 3, reported in futures trading that Chicago December soft red winter wheat was $6.08; December corn, $4.01; and November soybeans, $10.59.
The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $6.73 to $6.90, up 1/2 to2 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $4.77 to $4.86, up 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, $6.01 to $6.21, up 3 1/2 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, $11.37 3/4 to $11.55 1/4, up 12 1/2 cents.
Colby, Kansas, unit train wheat bid was $5.12 to $5.21.
In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $5.22 to $5.57.
No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was $5.22 to $5.57.
In northeast Colorado, wheat was $4.93 to $5.17.
In east central Colorado, wheat was $5.07 to $5.32.
In southeast Colorado, wheat was $5.07 to $5.27.
In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $4.93 to $5.06.
No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was $4.46 per bushel.
In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $3.96 to $4.26.
In east central Colorado, corn was $4.01 to $4.31.
In southeast Colorado, corn was $4.36.
In southwest Nebraska corn bids were $3.88 to $3.98 per bushel.
No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was $4.86 to $5.21 per cwt.
No. 1 yellow soybeans in southwest Nebraska were $9.74 1/4 to $9.99 1/4 per bushel.
White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $20 to $22.50 per cwt.
Sunflowers were $17.75 cwt.
In Denver and surrounding areas, corn was $4.46 per bushel. Barley was unavailable.
In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, pinto beans were steady $23 per cwt; in North Dakota and Minnesota, pinto beans were steady at $22 to $24. In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans were steady $23 to $25. Great Northerns were steady at $30 in northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $26 to $27. In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, light red kidneys were unavailable; in North Dakota and Minnesota, light red kidneys were steady $40 to $43.
