The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for Feb. 8, reported in futures trading that Chicago March soft red winter wheat was $7.78 3/4; March corn, $6.32 1/4; and March soybeans, $15.69.
The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $8.93 3/4 to $9.03 3/4, up 15 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $7.29 1/4 to $7.30 1/4, up 7 to 5 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, unavailable; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, $16.84 to $16.89, down 3/4 to 2 1/4 cents.
Colby, Kansas, unit train wheat bid was $7.56 to $7.76.
In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $7.81 to $8.11.
No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was $7.81 1/4 to $8.11 1/4.
In northeast Colorado, wheat was $7.32 1/4 to $7.52 1/4.
In east central Colorado, wheat was $7.61 1/4 to $7.89 1/4.
In southeast Colorado, wheat was $7.61 1/4 to $8.16 1/4.
In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $7.32 1/4 to $7.51 1/4.
No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was $6.82 1/4 to $6.92 1/4.
In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $6.32 1/4 to $6.92 1/4.
In east central Colorado, corn was $6.32 1/4 to $6.67 1/4.
In southeast Colorado, corn was $6.52 1/4 to $6.87 1/4.
In southwest Nebraska corn bids were $6.27 1/4 to $6.32 1/4 per bushel.
No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was $6.22 1/4 to $6.47 1/4.
No. 1 yellow soybeans in southwest Nebraska were $14.94 to $15.04.
White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $13.50 to $15 per cwt.

In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, pinto beans were steady $44 per cwt; in North Dakota and Minnesota, pinto beans were steady at $42 to $45. In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans were steady $45 to $46. Great Northerns were steady at $30 in northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $42. In northeast Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska, light red kidneys were $50; in North Dakota and Minnesota, light red kidneys were $50.
