ServSafe Food Handler trainings offered

Nebraska Extension will offer multiple ServSafe Food Handler training courses across the Nebraska Panhandle in 2026.

The half-day trainings are designed for food service employees who handle, prepare, or serve food and want to strengthen their understanding of safe food practices. ServSafe Food Handler helps food establishments reduce the risk of foodborne illness, improve day-to-day sanitation, and build customer confidence.

The courses are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $40 per person and includes instruction, training materials, and the proctored Food Handler test. Register online at: https://go.unl.edu/panhandleservsafe2026 or by calling the Morrill County Extension Office at 308-262-1022.
