The Ogallala Livestock Auction Market, Ogallala, Nebraska, reported receipts of 900 head selling on Aug. 1, according to the Nebraska Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News Service, Kearney, Nebraska.

There is no comparison to the previous sale, due to the length of time. Steers accounted for 33% and heifers 67% of the offering, with 91% weights over 600 pounds. The rest of the offering consisted cows and bulls.
