Memorial Day is a day to honor the brave souls who have fallen after fighting for their country. Memorial Day was celebrated as early as the 1860s following the Civil War. But it officially became a national holiday in 1971.

There is not a more committed sacrifice than those who have given their life so that we can have and keep all our freedoms. Let us all keep politicians in power that love America. I despise the ones who talk about wanting socialism. And the young ones that talk in favor of that most didn’t want anyone telling them what to do let alone a dictator.

The cattle on feed report showed 101.8% on feed with placements at 105.5% and marketings at 90%. That doesn’t surprise me with the drought over many states. August feeder cattle on the futures have sold off over $35 per hundredweight from the high on May 1. June live cattle are $11 per hundredweight under last week’s cash market.

I have to tell a story on myself in my rebellious younger days. I was just walking out of the bar and just then realized someone had stolen my car as it drove by. So, I did what any intelligent young guy would do I stole another car to chase down the car of mine that was stolen.

And just as we approached the railroad track my car zoomed across, but I got hit by the train. That train threw the car I was driving into the living room of a house. Luckily the couple was sleeping in the bedroom. I told them my story, but they were not the neighborly type as they were not interested in helping me chase the guy that stole my car.

So I did what I had to and stole their golf cart. I guess this wasn’t my lucky day as the cop said I pulled out in front of him. I told him my story, but he wouldn’t help either. He simply took me to jail. I woke up the next morning and told the jail keeper someone has got to help me find my car that was stolen. Then I realized I was very lucky cause I just realized the night before when I went to the bar I taken an Uber.
