Tree planting, biodiversity, and Emerald Ash Borer
It might be cold and bleak outside, but there is always something to learn about gardening! The Cleveland County Master Gardener Association on will be hosting ISA Certified Arborist/ASCA Consulting Arborist Mariah Menzie to discuss what trees to plant, how to include biodiversity in your garden, and the Emerald Ash Borer. The class will be held Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in room "C," located on the northwest corner of the Cleveland County Fairgrounds. This event is free and open to the public.
Mariah is a certified arborist living and working in Norman, Oklahoma. She graduated from OU with degrees in International and Area Studies and French. She recently completed the coursework for the Extension Master Gardener Program.
