The USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colorado, in the closing grain report for April 6, reported in futures trading that Chicago May soft red winter wheat was $6.15 1/2; May corn, $5.54 1/4; and May soybeans, $14.18 3/4.
The export bid for direct Gulf delivery of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, unavailable; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $6.72 3/4 to $7.15 1/2, down 3/4 to 4 1/4 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $6.07 to $6.26 1/4, up 3/4 to down 1/4 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, $7.94 1/4 to $8.09 1/4, up 1 cent; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, unavailable; and No. 1 yellow soybeans, barge, unavailable.
Colby, Kansas, unit train wheat bid was $5.21 to $5.26.
In Denver and the surrounding area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $5.36 to $5.70.
No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, north central Colorado, was $5.35 1/2 to $5.70.
In northeast Colorado, wheat was $4.85 1/2 to $5.10 1/2.
In east central Colorado, wheat was $5.10 1/2 to $5.35 1/2.
In southeast Colorado, wheat was $5.30 1/2.
In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $4.88 1/2 to $5.10 1/2.
No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was $5.99 1/4 to $6.29 1/4.
In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $5.33 to $5.79 1/4.
In east central Colorado, corn was $5.79 1/4 to $5.89 1/4.

In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $32.
